Clothesline Club – If you love 30s fabrics as much as we do you will
enjoy this Friday night get together.
Every first Friday night, beginning in March, join Debbie for a free
pattern, hand or machine sewing, Darlene Zimmerman’s monthly newsletter and
snacks. Debbie will give you tips and
techniques, a little history lesson and you will have fun just sewing

Project Linus Quilts –

spacious classroom, bring lunch and stay all day. Bring your UFOs or a special project that you

beautiful binding is the “icing on the cake”. This class is designed to teach the
traditional combination of machine and hand stitched binding, straight of grain
vs. bias binding, and decorative bindings. Machine and book required.

for you. We will cover thread options, marking, stencils, quilting with even
feed foot and free motion. Must have sewing experience and be familiar with

fundamentals of machine quilting that will enable you to complete your sewing

Beginning Silk Ribbon
Embroidery – Alexandra will teach
you the basics of silk ribbon embroidery.

this class, students will learn techniques for the art of painting on fabric,
including shading, highlighting and line work. Students will
complete a small flower project that can be used on a crazy quilt or other

Intermediate Silk Ribbon - This
class is for those who want to explore silk ribbon beyond the basics.
Students will learn more advanced silk stitching techniques, including coral
stitch roses, pistil stitch, twisted straight stitches, and more.
Students will also explore the uses of silk ribbon in landscape quilting, on

Free motion quilting on your small machine – Create beautiful quilts using the free motion
techniques from Carol. Learn to create
beautiful motifs .
After you gain confidence by quilting straight lines, Carol will teach

Quilting 101 – Quilting for beginning sewers. This quick and easy machine-pieced quilt is a
great introduction to quilting if you have little or no sewing experience. Learn the basic skills of rotary cutting,
sewing a straight ¼" seam, matching points and pressing seams. The last class will cover information on
turning your quilt top into a finished quilt.
