Sewing Machine, in good working order, along with foot pedal and power cord.
Basic Sewing Notions (neutral thread, thread to match the circles at the centers of your blocks, pins, seam ripper, machine needles, etc.)
Rotary Cutter and 18” x 24” Mat
6” x 24” Ruler
Small Iron and Ironing Pad
Fabric Marking Pen(cil)
Pen(cil) and note paper
Fabric Requirements:
Background: 2 2/3 yards (If you want a scrappy background, you can use (48) 8 ½” assorted squares. You can get four squares from a fat quarter. Sew into (12) sets of four.)
Blades: (20) 1/6 yard cuts of assorted strips for blades. Starch well before cutting.
Plate Centers & Cornerstones: (12) 4” squares & (20) 4 ½” squares assorted solids or tone on tones.
Binding: 5/8 yard, cut (9) 2 ½” strips.
Backing: 5 yards
