Supply List:

The pattern will be given during class.

•         1/2-yard focus fabric
•          1/2 -yard lining fabric
•           1/2-yard for straps and optional pocket and zipper tabs
•          One main zipper 16” length – Size # 5 (note: zipper tab instructions will be provided in class for preparation if you buy zippers by the yard or longer zipper)
•          (2) pieces 18” X 15” Soft and Stable Foam interfacing for the exterior pieces of the bag
•         1 1/2 yards – Pellon SF101 - Fusible woven interfacing for lining, pocket
•         2 yards - 1” strapping (for straps)
•         Rotary Cutter
•         Ruler
•          Sewing clips / pins
•         Chrome universal OR microtex sewing needle size 80.
•         Double sided basting tape - Byannie
•         Marking tool – wash away marker or chalk
•         Best press or starch/water bottle
•         Teflon sheet or pressing cloth.
•         Scissors
•         Seam Ripper
•         Thread to match your fabrics and bobbins wound before class.
•         Walking foot for layers
•         Zipper foot
•         Sewing machine in good working condition
  
  

  Quilt Country Classroom Guidelines

  To ensure all Quilt Country students get the most out of their classes, we ask that you please follow the guidelines below:

  1.      Students are expected to be on time, with all supplies, and ready to go by start of class.  
  2.      After unloading your class supplies, please move your car to the parking lot in the middle of the shopping center.
  3.      Due to common allergies, please do not wear perfume to class.
  4.      For the safety of all, please keep your belongs stowed. Check for stray pins and tidy your sewing area when packing up after class.
  5.      Please turn off cell phone ringers during class and only receive calls outside the classroom.
  6.      Please be considerate and do not bring children to class, unless the class is specifically for children, and the child is participating in the class.  
  7.      Please mind your conversations in volume and content so everyone feels comfortable.
     
     

  Quilt Country Classroom Policy

  1.      All students attend class at their own risk.
  2.      The use of any Quilt Country tools and equipment is at the students’ own risk.
  3.      Quilt Country is not responsible for the loss of or damage to students’ personal items.
  4.      At the instructor’s discretion, students arriving 15 minutes or more after the start of class may not be permitted to take the class – tuition will be forfeited.
  5.      If you are unable to attend the class (cancellation policy):
  6.      If attendance is cancelled a week or more in advance of the class – full refund.
  7.      If attendance is cancelled between 3 and 7 days in advance of the class – store credit will be issued for the class fee amount.
  8.       No refund or credit will be issued for “no shows” or cancellations less than three (3) days in advance of the class.
